Elizabeth is a driven attorney with substantial experience in Workers’ Compensation Law. She is an experienced trial lawyer

who has successfully litigated complex claims involving compensability and fraud.

EXPERIENCE

While completing her final semester at Touro Law Center, Elizabeth began her legal career as a student attorney with the City Bar

Justice Center’s Veterans’ Assistance Project, in conjunction with the NYS Pro Bono Scholar’s program. She worked closely with other

attorneys to secure disability benefits for veterans who had previously been denied. She then progressed to a role as a defense attorney for several workers’ compensation defense firms counseling and defending employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators before the NYS Workers’ Compensation Board. Her background as a defense attorney provides a broad knowledge of the claims handling process and allows her to offer unique insights to her clients – empowering her as an advocate for injured workers.

THE MORE YOU KNOW

Elizabeth is fluent in Spanish. She is a member of the American Bar Association,

Hispanic National Bar Association, and Sigma Lambda Gamma National

Sorority, Inc. In 2014, she became the inaugural president of the non-profit

organization MetroLALSA, Inc., and remains an active alumnus.
